Hose parameters

Factors to pay attention to when choosing a hose
1. Chemical resistance and compatibility
Test method: Soak test, take a section of hose into the solution and soak for 48 hours. After taking it out, observe whether the hose is damaged such as discoloration, swelling, rupture, etc. If not, the hose is compatible with the solution and can be used
2. Under pressure
The application of peristaltic pumps is limited by the pressure-bearing performance of the hose. Once the maximum pressure of the hose is reached, the hose will expand, causing excessive wear or direct rupture of the hose
3. Temperature
Depending on the material of the hose, the temperature should be considered when using the hose. The temperature resistance of the silicone tube for peristaltic pump is -51--238℃
4. Specification and size
According to flow requirements, choose hoses with different inner diameters. The inner diameter of the hose determines the flow rate, and the wall thickness affects the ability of the hose to be compressed and rebound, and also has a great impact on the life of the hose
